About paypercall.wiki

From paypercall.wiki, the free encyclopedia
Main article: Pay-per-call

paypercall.wiki is an independent reference site about pay-per-call marketing: the model, the mechanics, the regulation, and the networks, software vendors and verticals that make up the industry.[1][2] It is written in the style of an encyclopedia and is not affiliated with any network, vendor, regulator or company it describes.

Editorial policy

[edit]

Every factual sentence on this site carries a citation to a source listed on the References page.[3] Text is written in neutral third-person voice. Vendor and network claims are attributed ("Ringba states that…"), not repeated as fact. Where the only source is a vendor's own description, a directory, or a single secondary article, the claim is labelled rather than presented as settled. Founding years, headquarters and leadership are published only when confirmed by the company's own site, a public filing, or a database that names its sources. Claims for which no source exists are left out.

The domain was registered on 9 September 2026, and the footer "last edited" date is the build date of the site. Historical dates in the text, such as the enactment of the TCPA or the founding of a company, are the dates reported by the cited sources, not dates on which this site published anything.

Evidence labels

[edit]

Paragraphs and table cells whose claim does not rest on a primary source begin with a small label:

  • OFFICIAL Stated in a statute, court opinion, regulator publication, or the company's own site.
  • DOCUMENTED Reported consistently by more than one named secondary source, such as law-firm client alerts or trade publications.
  • REPORTED Reported by a single named secondary source, a directory, a database, or a trade-press interview, and not yet confirmed elsewhere.
  • INFERRED A conclusion drawn by this site's editors from the sources.
  • UNKNOWN Not established by any source; for example, the size of the pay-per-call market.
  • UNVERIFIED Appears in a source the editors could not check, or in a vendor's self-description only.

Labels are reviewed when new sources appear. A REPORTED or UNVERIFIED claim is promoted when confirmed and removed if contradicted.

Disclosures

[edit]

Entries for networks, vendors, tools, communities and people are cited to the relevant public pages and given the same length and treatment regardless of who operates them.[4][5] The site accepts no payment for inclusion. Where a referral or affiliate programme exists for a product mentioned on this site, any link that would earn a commission is disclosed on the page that carries it. As of 10 September 2026, no such links are in use.

Corrections

[edit]

To report an error, request a correction, or supply a source, email [email protected] with the page URL and the sentence concerned. Corrections that change a fact are applied with a new citation. Companies described on this site may request that their entry be updated by pointing to a public page that states the fact.

Technical notes

[edit]

The site is static HTML with one stylesheet and one small script for the table of contents and search. It uses no web fonts and loads no third-party resources other than Google Analytics. Structured data in JSON-LD describes the site, each article, and the term itself.
